　　◇墓中人语

　　爱尔兰民歌《丹尼少年》（Danny Boy），是我生平最喜欢的一首歌。歌中写情人在生死线外，幽明永隔，死者不已，生者含悲，缠绵凄凉，令人难忘。尤其听到汤姆琼斯的变调唱法，更把它唱得多情感人。

　　我一直想把这首歌译成中文，但是迁就用韵，未能如愿。一年前我试译了一半，还没译完，就入狱了。今天上午整理旧稿，发现了这一半译文，决心把它译完。花了一个半小时，用直译意译混合法，居然把它译成了。　DANNY BOY

　　[附记]）照爱尔兰民歌的原始意味，这首歌是写父子之情，Danny Boy最后寻找到的，是父子之爱。我这里意译，当然别有所延伸，特此声明如上。
